What we say......

We are a husband and wife team, Donna and Alan are ‘Digitally Different.’ We are two experienced wedding photographers and have photographed over 250 weddings since 2000 and we capture the complete story of your wedding day - formal and informal and from different angles and perspectives. Combining the traditional and contemporary, our approach is to produce both documentary images that tell the story of the wedding day as well as a few of those all important group shots. These styles merge because we try and make our group shots relaxed and informal and use them as a platform for natural shots. We tell the story of the day and  we capture sequences of images. For example, of the bridal preparations or the story of the ceremony and we ensure we capture the atmosphere, the context and the personalities who are essential aspects of your wedding day.

We use advanced cameras and our DVD slideshows are a terrific way to show your wedding record to friends and family. We also produce a range of wedding books or magazine-style albums  which are an extremely attractive way to display your wedding photographs. In our view both the wedding books and the DVD slideshows complement each other.  Here is a sneak peek of a slideshow made using the couple's wedding highlights.

Our easy to access website that adds an extra dimension to our wedding photography, your wedding images appear on our site for easy display to guests and friends, password protected, if you prefer. Choosing and ordering prints and other items could not be easier.

Alan and I prepare thoroughly for each wedding and offer attention to detail at all stages. This includes the time we spend on consultation, our attendance at the rehearsal and/or site visits to the venue. The extent of our commitment to you on the day itself means that you will have photos of which you can be proud. Your images are edited and put on-line within two weeks of the wedding. Your collection of images is carefully selected, with each image being individually edited. Album design and creation is a collaborative partnership. In addition to this we aim to get a selection of our personal favourite images on our Blog within 24 hours of the wedding, so you get that ‘sneak peak’ before you go off on that all important honeymoon!

We offer attractive pricing for all budgets and are confident that our pricing structure is one of our strong selling points. This website and our word-of-mouth reputation secure our extensive annual portfolio of weddings.

We are fully covered by Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance which provides you with essential security. We also have associate photographers who we can call on in the case of emergencies. However in the last 10 years that have never been necessary! But we feel it is better to be safe than sorry!

Digitally Different's mix of informal and contemporary photography in Bournemouth, Poole and the New Forest are a big hit with brides, grooms and guests alike, their friendly and relaxed approach makes such little impact on your day that most of the time people are unaware they are being photographed! This means your photographs have a natural feel and 'real moments' with 'real people' All photographs in this website are taken by Donna and Alan Chipping of Digitally Different Photography and are 'real couples' at 'real weddings' not models, staged productions or photographer workshops. 

Donna and Alan’s friendly and relaxed pre-wedding consultations are held at your wedding and reception venues two to four weeks prior to the big day and allow you to play an essential part in creating the right look and feel for your own distinctive wedding album.  If you are looking for fantastic wedding photographs .......... then Digitally Different is your first port of call.
